Blake Nichols
Engineering

A graduate of the University of Wyoming, Blake received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer in Wyoming. He was previously employed by National Oilwell working in their International and Off-Shore Fabrication Center for twelve years. Blake has over 35 years of experience in fabrication, service and design of oilfield surface equipment for the production, well servicing and drilling industries.

Rick Binks
Sales Manager

Rick Binks has been Sales Manager for Fabrication Technologies for 5 years with responsibilities that include overseeing the EOR Department and serving as team leader in all aspects of customer service, equipment design, specifications, fabrication and field implementation. Prior to joining Fab Tech, Rick was employed by National Oilwell for 20 years where he held engineering design responsibilities of portable pumping systems, including well service, drilling, water injection and underground mine dewatering applications. Rick is also experienced in plant design for over 27 successful EOR projects implemented worldwide.

Stan Martin
Safety

Stan comes to Fabrication Technologies after 38 years with the U.S. Postal Service. During the last 15 years, Stan was responsible for employee and vehicle safety, and incident reporting with OSHA. He also conducted and participated in all facility inspections and was responsible for the safety of 80 employees. Stan continues his role in safety with Fab Tech and oversees our locations in Casper, as well as our crews in Midwest, Wyoming and Farmington, New Mexico.

Rod Boomer
Sales

Rod brings 30 years of oil and gas sales and service experience to Fabrication Technologies. His experience includes valve repair and sales, sales and service of oilfield supplies and 18 years as Tyco Flow Controls Technical Sales Representative. Rod attended the electronics program at Casper College, has trained in valve actuation, control valve and valve sizing/selection and is responsible for sales and project management.

Harold Johnson
Sales

Joining FTI’s sales team 2 years ago, Harold Johnson is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, a past member of International Association of Drilling Contractors and has over 32 years of oilfield experience, with 15 years being in EOR/IOR. Harold’s experience as a chemical flood engineer/conformance control and oil services chemical sales with Allied Colloids/Ciba Specialty Chemicals brings great value to his success as a FTI Salesman.

Woodie Ridley
Quality Control

Woodie has been with Fabrication Technologies for 6 years, with primary responsibility as Quality Control Manager and also assists with quotations and drafting. Woodie has over 35 years of experience with 8 years in drafting and design, and over 27 years experience as Quality Control Manager. Woodie’s experience includes AMSE Sec VIII, Div 1 Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, ASME B31.1, B31.3 and API 1104 Pressure Piping.

Josh Wadsworth
Drafting

Josh came to Fabrication Technologies 2 years ago and is the head of our drafting department specializing in the design of Enhanced Oil Recovery Systems. Josh attended the architectural program at Montana State University and completed the architectural engineering/drafting program at Casper College. Josh’s experience in design and drafting comes from working as a contract designer/draftsman in the food service industry and 3 years in general construction as an estimator, administrative assistant and draftsman.
